This autumn, Sapatos launched a brand new concept with Wonderjeans and WHAT an amazing success this has been! I guess we never expected that as a shoe store we would be able to sell trousers. But our customers LOVE these pants and we can hardly get enough pants to fill up our stock. The unique thing about these trousers is that they fit almost all body shapes and sizes. We are contacted almost daily by customers who thank us for selling these trousers.
Sapatos is a small family business and we have been involved in ready-to-wear for three generations, so this thing about trousers is actually not completely new to us. Since the generation before us also has a success story with pants... and with the same man who now makes Wonderjeans. After all, we have "grown up" with this story about the wonderful trousers that fit virtually all customers and how different customers with completely different body shapes and sizes all loved these trousers.
But as a shoe store, we don't exactly have thought that this is something for us. Then we stumble upon this man who then knows our parents-in-law. He has further developed the concept and has worked with trousers for over 30 years(!) and we get the opportunity to test out Wonderjeans at Sapatos. After testing the trousers on ourselves, friends and acquaintances, we are convinced to give it a chance, which we do not regret today!

Then you might be wondering what is so unique about these trousers? They have a stretch which means that the bush sits nicely against the body, without being tight. It feels like walking in soft sweatpants, but it sits nicely on the body like a pair of denim pants. It helps lift up the rear and keeps it in place. It simply gives you the little extra lift that many of us want from trousers, without it being tight. Even the seams are made in stretch so that everything on the trousers is compliant.
